Dr. Shadeiyah Edwards is a mother, speaker, professor, author, and entrepreneur.  She specializes in stress management, utilizing her clinical/academic skills, and real-life experiences to empower mothers to live a more balanced life. Dr. Edwards has years of experience in the mental health field. Dr. Edwards attended California State University, Long Beach where she majored in Criminal Justice. Dr. Edwards then went to collect her M.A. in Applied Forensic Psychology and Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology

Dr. Edwards has worked with all age groups. Her professional and educational background has afforded her the opportunity and experience to be exposed to diverse populations. Through her own self-awareness, knowledge of the culture and community of underserved populations, she finds it necessary to provide a culturally supporting environment. She’s worked within populations such as: forensics, geriatrics, and children, adolescents & families. She has worked with individuals with criminal justice backgrounds, homelessness, co-occurring disorders, trauma histories, substance abuse, severe mental illness, and gang involved individuals.

Dr. Edwards understands juggling schedules, balancing single motherhood and career. Dr. Edwards has a commitment to working with parents that need assistance, building and maintaining healthy positive relationships with their children. Dr. Edwards also works with parents that struggle to co-parent effectively. She’s committed to empowering mothers to take control of their lives through education, entrepreneurship, or career.
